風呂の日(every 26th is bathing day!)

Lots of public path place(Onsen) offers, specials on the 26th of every month.
In Japanese, we have alternative counting call out for 1.2.3....10.
If you are familiar with Japanese, you should know its "ichi(1) ni(2) san(3).....roku(6)....juu(10)".

The alternative is "hi(1) Fu(2) Mi(3).....Muttsu(6) .......To(10)".
and we put Fu as 2 and 6 as Ro(ku) and Furo no hi. It's just fun fact of Japanese.

Similarly, we have 29th for meat(niku)' day. and so on, if you are interested, please google it.

It is very limited facilities I have visited on 26th. If 26th is on the weekend, I have more chance to go somewhere else to find out.. but otherwise, not really have time to...

I know yunogou onsen (sagi yu onsen) does lottery. You pick a ball from the box to win features. Prize can be discount tickets, free bathing pass, soft drink and ice cream. The worst prize is the pocket tissue paper. Lol

Seto haws ONSEN gives away of discount ticket vailed for a month.

I hear YUBARA SUNA YU is the origin of furo no hi.

Why don't you try take public bath in 26th of the month!!!
